Position Overview:

As an AI Prompt Engineering Intern, you will be trained to design, test, and refine input prompts for AI language models to generate precise and useful responses. Additionally, you will review AI-generated outputs, analyze their accuracy, and refine prompts to improve AI training and performance. You will gain practical experience working with AI models, optimizing prompts for coding tasks, and improving AI-generated outputs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Learn and apply prompt engineering techniques to optimize AI-generated responses.
• Develop, test, and refine prompts to improve AI performance in coding, debugging, and system design tasks.
• Analyze and review AI-generated responses for accuracy, efficiency, and clarity.
• Collaborate with developers and AI engineers to integrate AI outputs into real-world projects.
• Document best practices, prompt strategies, and improvements for future reference.
• Stay updated with AI advancements and experiment with AI tools like OpenAI GPT, Anthropic Claude, etc.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Technical Skills & Experience

• Final-year student or fresh graduate in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in programming languages like Java, Python and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with software development frameworks, libraries, and APIs.
• Good at reviewing code for quality, efficiency, and adherence to standards.
• Understanding of debugging tools and code review processes.
• Basic knowledge of AI/ML concepts and large language models (LLMs) is a plus.
• Familiarity with how LLMs function, particularly for coding, debugging, and system design tasks.
• Knowledge of prompt engineering strategies for developer-specific use cases.
• Experience using tools like OpenAI GPT, Anthropic Claude, or similar models.

Soft Skills:

• Effective written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to craft clear, precise and effective prompts and instructions for AI systems.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to evaluate and improve AI outputs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Attention to detail to assess and improve AI-generated outputs.
• Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team.
