Key Responsibilities

• Odoo Development: Design, Development and testing of Odoo (OpenERP) modules, projects, products and interfaces. Should have good understanding of Odoo module building and troubleshooting. Must be aware of Odoo App store and popular third-party module.
• Customization: Customize Odoo modules to meet the specific needs of clients, including custom workflows, reports, and dashboards.
• Integration: Integrate Odoo with third-party applications and systems using APIs and web services.
• Support and Maintenance: Provide ongoing support and maintenance for Odoo implementations, troubleshoot issues, and implement bug fixes.
• Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for Odoo modules and customizations.
• Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, business analysts, and other developers to deliver solutions that meet business requirements.
• Training: Assist in training end-users and other team members on the use and customization of Odoo.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in Odoo development and customization.

Skill Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Odoo Stack Technologies (i.e. Python, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML, PostgreSQL etc.).
• Strong knowledge of Odoo framework, including ORM, API, and QWeb.
• Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and command-line tools.
• Experience with Git or other version control systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Odoo certification is a plus.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Knowledge of business processes such as accounting, inventory, and sales.
• Previous experience working in an ERP implementation team.
